How It Works

Secure your item with a minimum 15% deposit (including VAT). You may choose to pay a higher deposit if you wish, but not less. Pay via cash, EFT, debit or credit card. - Easy Monthly Instalments
Your remaining balance will be divided into three equal monthly instalments. Payments are interest-free and due on the same date each month as your original deposit.
You may pay more than your required monthly instalment at any time, but not less. - Get Your Item
Once your final payment clears, you can either collect your item or arrange delivery (delivery fees apply).
Who Can Use KoolPay
To be eligible, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a valid South African ID
- Provide proof of address (not older than three months)
- Be legally permitted to enter into a contract
Product Eligibility
- All Daily Discounts items qualify — unless otherwise noted.
- Value range: R500 to R50,000.
- Product must be in stock at the time of agreement.
- The lay-by price is based on the regular retail price at the time the lay-by agreement is created. Promotional or special prices do not apply.
Payment Schedule
- Balance split into three equal monthly payments after your deposit.
- Payment due monthly on the same date as your deposit.
- You may pay more than your required monthly instalment at any time, but not less.
- SMS reminders are sent before due dates and when payments are missed.
Missed a Payment
- 7-day grace period after the due date.
- R50 late fee applies after the grace period.
- If unpaid for 30 days, your lay-by may be cancelled after a 7-day notice.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancel within 14 days: full refund.
- Cancel after 14 days: 90% refund of what you’ve paid.
- Refunds processed within 7–14 working days.
- No penalty if you cancel due to hospitalisation or death (supporting proof required).
Delivery or Collection
- Once your final payment clears, you may either collect your item in person or request delivery.
- Delivery charges apply and depend on your delivery address and product size.
- Delivery is arranged only after the final payment is received in full.
- Daily Discounts will not be responsible for courier delays once the item has been dispatched.
- Delivery or collection must occur within 14 days of final payment. After that, a storage fee of R50 per week will apply.
- If the item remains uncollected or undelivered after 60 days, it may be resold. Any surplus after reasonable costs will be refunded to you.
Product Unavailability
If the product becomes unavailable before completion of the lay-by, we will offer a replacement or a full refund with interest in line with the Prescribed Rate of Interest Act.
Data Protection
We process all personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Dispute Resolution
If we cannot resolve your concern, you may contact the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO).

What is KoolPay?
KoolPay is our interest-free lay-by plan. Pay a deposit now and settle the balance over up to four months (deposit + three equal monthly instalments).
How much is the deposit?
A minimum of 15% of the total price (including VAT). You may pay more if you wish.
Can I pay off early?
Absolutely — you can settle your balance early at any time.
Can I pay more than the minimum monthly payment?
Yes. You may pay more than your required monthly instalment, but not less.
What happens if I miss a payment?
You’ll get a 7-day grace period. After that, a R50 late fee applies. If unpaid for 30 days, your lay-by may be cancelled with notice.
When do I get my goods?
Once your final payment clears, you can either collect your item or request delivery.
Can I have my order delivered?
Yes. Once your final payment clears, you can arrange delivery. Delivery fees apply and depend on your location and the product size.
What if I don’t collect my items?
A storage fee of R50 per week applies after 14 days. After 60 days, we may resell the item and refund any surplus to you.
What if the product becomes unavailable?
We’ll offer a replacement or a refund with interest in line with the Prescribed Rate of Interest Act.
How is my personal data protected?
We comply with POPIA to keep your personal information safe.
Dispute resolution?
You may contact the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO) if we can’t resolve your concern.
